Power Yoga

Power Yoga Class:   Power yoga is a very empowering branch of yoga that has many of the same qualities and benefits as Vinyasa, including building internal heat, increased stamina, strength, and flexibility, as well as stress reduction. In the yoga philosophy, we see the word “prana” often, which is a term to describe the energy within us, around us, and what brings animation to our bodies. We have the power to bring balance and fluctuate this energy with the uses of Hatha yoga practices such as breathing exercises and “asanas,” or postures. This class will focus on bringing strength to our muscles, softness in our joints, stability to our minds, vigor to our energy, and sweat to our skin!

About the Instructor, Diana
I am a 20 year old local yogi from Quechee Vermont, currently attending Community College of Vermont studying Health & Wellness. I also work as a caregiver at an assisted living home, and at the high school as a yoga teacher. In my free time i enjoy skiing, gardening, hiking, & making yummy food! My goals are to travel long & far, & extend my yoga knowledge everyday.
